Am I in love you ask, Yes I am in love, In love with the Lady of the Morning, Who daily sends her servant the Sun, Clothed in flaming robes, To shine brilliance and life upon this planet. Her’s is the only hearth this wanderer has ever known, She is his only home. Am I in love you ask, Yes I am in love, In love with the vast blue Sky, Whose reflection is plays infinite shades in the deep seas, Sky, who at eve flares in her passion, Only to rise in the afterglow of dawn, And build the flame again. Am I in love you ask, Yes I am in love, In love with the land itself, The rolling hills covered in golden grass In Summertime, swaying to the breeze Like an ocean of the Sun’s love, Or the lush vales, Green in Winter when the rest of the world is white, Soft and temperate like a cool bed of rest. Am I in love you ask! Yes I am in love! In love with the soft night that comes to me in Dark, velvety robes, sprinkled with jewels, And crowned with gems in her hair; She takes me softly yet swiftly In a place where what was dreamed is, And what was wept over is forgotten -majnu |

Then you too, maj, should meet me in the wood. I do love finding a kindred spirit. The witch smiles at you on Sabbat. ![]() Loved this. |
