behind closed doors behind closed doors awaits a private retreat for articulate lovers offering their lyrics hours of melodic passion to seek complex sounds humming slowly a low-key duet begins combining voices in song hands reach for high notes arranging artistic movements in contrasting forms singing in rhyming accord the fexible pattern prescribes the body scheme with allegro pace the music continues at a brisk lively tempo the motion peaks in deep gradual crescendo down the flowing passage increasing in volume the fine-tuned performance adjusts in sharp measure following the mark of finis all is repeated seeking the end once more as the sonnet plays on Janette |
