she comes to me though i didn't know i had lost her, she comes in love, dancing brown eyes holding out her tiny hand, she touches my face tenderly, and tossles my yellow hair, laughing, hers still brown, we both wear braids, and tiaras of wildflowers and traipse barefoot on anything green and swing on crescent moons lined with stars, she was silent for too long but lately calls me from clouds she dangles on, or window scenes that wear my woes, she saves me time and time again, sometimes delayed until the llth hour. othertimes in lightening speed, at the first sign, she's always been there, tho i havent really felt her strenght until lately, as these predicaments without clear exits need the solace only she can offer, she really offers no simple answers or wisdom, just confirmation that her flame is still very much alive [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (07-31-2003 11:09 PM).] |

Very well stated. Your inner child is always there, the feelings of carefree lifestyles, no responsibilities, moving from whim to whim and just having fun, though it can get hidden as we go through life's cold, and sometimes harsh, reality. |

Now...I have been getting a lot of messages both at Passions and other places as well to reconnect with that little girl who lives in me. Hmmm...the last time I got so many messages...it was last fall when everyone was telling me to start writing again. Better heed the voices...writing has healed me so.
