Christmas morning three years young maybe four I recall the shining candy apple red surprise beneath the tree for me Coasting twelve steps like a bird in flight giggling like children seem to do when they are blind That memory sadly fades crumbling and tattered like the edges of your picture black and white |

I share that feeling of a troubled fathers day. Nothing can replace the pain. Please know that regardless of the past, I am assured you turned out great & are loved deeply by many. "like children seem to do when they are blind" Littlewing, this poem is wonderfully written. It is so true, when we are young, we cannot see the "bad" in anyone -- our eyes won't allow it. This is going in my library  Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end... |
