The eyes of mariachi Caressed my gloomy face His hands were touching gentle strings With loving tender grace. He asked me if I needed help And if my soul was hurt I told him, "Yes, I'm dying here With broken bleeding heart." The tears of mariachi touched My cheeks and trembling hands, He sang like god with inner light I thought, "He understands!" Then mariachi came to me And put guitar aside We cried and laughed, and madly loved Enjoying summer night. Old songs about lost and gone They ease the lover's grief But deep inside romantic souls It stays and never leaves. Ay, mariachi, sing again Old songs about love I never asked you for your name - Your passion was enough. ...somos los locos para siempre |
