Listening to every heart

Intrigue – Alfred’s Delight

Take the blonde,
Make her young and innocent,
A curving bottle of delight
Who is sure
To lend imagery to scenes
And drama to the night
with Blackmail, and Murder!

Oh, make sure she can scream and appear
Spellbound

Requisite schemes, applied stratagems
Having a Man Who Knew Too Much,
To climb for me 39 Steps,
Then give me hints of Sabotage in
A leading man, tall, and dark,
With brooding eyes making him
Notorious,
And a hint of guilt
For he who believes in Secret Agents,

And I shall create the film noir,
To plot and conspire
Making the Lady Vanish
Raising fear higher
Then I shall take a dark haired beauty,
Rebecca, guide her North by Northwest,
Who only allows Suspicion to rule her heart,

And then I shall be king of the noir
In black and white stark
Leaving Shadows of Doubt

Look for me, bit parts to play
Though if you see me, I Confess,
My intrigue shall have failed
And I shall be assailed
By discontent, and will have to resort

To looking out a Rear Window
For those who would Dial M for Murder,
As each woman shall want to be Marnie
The stately beautiful blonde
And each man will strive to find in Birds
Lost innocence in time’s beyond

And I will pocket each man’s coin
On fear, and Vertigo
For all shall scream as I unleash
All those who are Psycho.

Littlewing, I'm sure this isn't quite
what you wanted, but my muse got the better
of me...so until I can do more, this is it
for now...
