crack of shell
spills you through
we are dead
only on the outside
a wing extends
even the forsaken fly

I swear Raph that you can write any poem any length, any style and it is always perfection.  This definately deserves a damn!...a powerful message.

AND it's about damn time that you posted that new pic Your manager has spoken!

"even the forsaken fly"

YES.

and even the weariest manage to head south, tho usually on the tailfeathers of borrowed velocity.

They say there's a reason for everything.

I think I have just been inventing them, m'self.

Damn it's dark in here. (tapping on my skull)

"we are dead
only on the outside"

Dark, yet hopeful.
Short, yet, oh so powerful!

Excellent poem!

Loved the entire thing....sometimes we need to borrow the velocity of others and sometimes we can do it on our own...lets just hope they are nice tailfeathers....
