State of constant confusion!

I Am

I am sleeping, I am dreaming
I wonder if I'll ever wake
There is no light at the end of my tunnel
Oh God, how I want to awake
I am sleeping, I am dreaming

I pretend to be alive as I walk through this world
I feel all eyes burning upon my skin
I touch my thoughts with only but a scream
I worry that someone may one day see through this cracked facade
I cry for the lost souls who wonder whom they are
I am sleeping, I am dreaming

I have come to understand I shall always slumber
And I say life is hard, never gives, only takes
I do still dream though, of finding my destiny
I try to see things the way they should be
God, I hope this is over soon
I am sleeping, I am dreaming

**note- this isn't "truly" from experience although parts are derived from lessons learned.

but if you are married and sound very happy why so many negatives in this when it is supposed to be who you are?

...I guess the grass always looks greener...but truthfully it isn't
