to be in love
to revel in the setting sun,
all in the same breath;

for whom does the sky
endure such nightly anguish
to become the backdrop
of a wistful girl's dream

Michele:

the sky endures your dreams
your star shines bright . . .

I love your picture!!
Freaked me out looking at that box
was creepy lol

But the first stanza
quite amazing
to have all of that in one breath
yes . . .
xxoo

This was quite beautiful...and true to heart.

As one who has endured some of the most beautiful sunsets & sunrises imagineable - Lonely or heartbroken;
I still believe one day someone will long to share that beauty as often as possible.
Here's wishing we both find someone to share the passion of love & the beauty of a sunset.
Great write - & as always, looking forward to more of your beautiful poetry

For whom does the sky endure...
I like that thought girlielocks.

Powerful presentation, almost like
a dream within a dream.
