Never close enough

Much can be said about
the light at the end of the tunnel

                                 ...For me

It's more like a slow burn.
          rather than a beacon to

                                 follow.

The tunnel?
Oh yes, the tunnel.

          ...seems like a thousand walls
each closing in as I fight to

                                 follow
                                       the light.

The light at the end of my tunnel
seems to dim, and flicker more
often than

                                 burn
                                       bright.

It seems that the longer I

                                 follow

                                       The farther away it moves.

Yes.  It moves, into the deep
hollows of an unknown void.

I call out to the light, because
sometimes...

I can see it no more.

Once again, it flickers and

                                 I follow.

But for how long must I chase this
light, until I finally reach the end of

                                 The Tunnel?

Tima...I think I know this tunnel.
You've penned it well, my friend.

Great poem, Tima. I hope you find the end of the tunnel soon...
