He rides his bike through the dark woods, arcross the lake, around the streets and through the city gates, With every beat of his heart, he longs to hear her sweet voice, touch her soft skin, to be excited once again, Day after day, hour upon hour, every thought is consumed by her beautiful face, her enchanting smile, He remembers their last encounter, how words of poetry melted their hearts together across the distance, His one true love, his soulmate, fate came, brought to light and made known of her existance, Although his love is far,far away, she remains close at his heart, by her poetry, by the many words she conveys, Oh, could this truely be, the one who has waited for me, whose eyes tell of such wanting and longing to be? As he opens up his email, his heart pumps faster with every beat, every breath, she excites him, is this loves' Quest? A poetic knight and his romantic maiden, two hearts, two souls,connected through words of love, poetry, and rhyme, Fate has brought them together, love has captured their souls forever, soulmates they will be for an eternity of a lifetime, As he logs off his computer, he has to say goodbye, but only for a brief moment, until he gazes towards the skies, Inside the heavens, he looks to where his angel is found, upon the same star that shines down, tears fill his eyes, The pain of missing her he cannot bare, he needs her gentle touch, he needs her love, her tender care, As the star twinkles, he feels she is gazing at the same star too, he knows her presence is always there, So as he gets back on his bike, his heart humming a happy tune, a smile comes across his face, Love has found him, love has come, and as he lies down to go to sleep, he closes his eyes and feels her warm embrace...until love travels back again! |
