The Nature of this Beast Although I’m not a turkey bandy I do posses a dragon Randy And though he sets in quiet clover He is dear girls quite a rover. To most I am a quite old man With little to say and much inner scan It all goes in and little comes out But when it does there is no doubt. I find a quiet mouth is best For then you have to meet no test You listen well for a goodly spell And judge it from an outside dwell Most will toss back in the stream For most is but the bubble of seem And notes that sound the song to hear Are notes of fear and little of cheer? So talk you less and listen well And you will weave a magic spell. |

Is this something like... "God gave us two ears and one mouth - So listen twice as much as you talk..." I like your philosophy, m'friend... |

Greetings & felicitations, Mr. T.! At first glance, I thought I read, "a quiet moth"!--but I knew that I must have misread that--'cause our moth has such a wonderful mouth--figuratively speaking! LOL Enjoyed your thoughts, Dear Sage! 'Nuff said! I'm getting back to my listening! Linda |
