where the wild flowers grow

Your words,
they stun me like the infliction of a poison arrow.
The wounds never heal,
the sun in my eyes causes my pupils to dialate
to non-exsistance.
I lay on a snow covered hill that overlooks
a frozen bit of ocean.
It seems so small, but it goes on forever.
The dark blue of the water shadows small life forms
that swim to the surface occasionally,
to press their heads against the ice.

It's the passion to escape,
the overwhelming instance in which
your heart comes out of your chest..
just to let you know there's always a valid reason..
There's always a perfect excuse,
to let the poison slip off of your tongue..
