I sit alone in an unlit room As midnight lays like silent tomb, And feel the pierce of dagger's might Damned infernalness of night In cacophony roars night’s quiet, In a sort of noiseless ceaseless riot, Clouds of terror reaching out, Soul’s despair in haunting shout, In mournful quest of life’s departure, Rise blackened depths of wrath’s incur, Conventions are by evil crushed, Disemboweled by loathsome lust. Heed the death knell of the tempest As from the light the dark doth wrest, Must I devour the bitter ash, Reveal the soul of darkened cache? Aye, I sit alone in an unlit room, As midnight lays like silent tomb, Sitting face to face with sin and death, Night’s only sound my lifeless breath. In shrouded chamber of life’s sorrow, Wondering if there is tomorrow. |

That flowed very forcibly. Each line pursued me viciously. heh. I liked it....your wording was good and I liked the "aye". It was a bit depressing though. I'd like to see what else you could write. |
