I know people
that would easily give
their hand to
protect me.
I know folks that'll
say anything
in my defense.

Figures
that you'd act like
you held the power,
you had control.
Heh, well brother,
just felt I'd let you know
that these boots
on my feet
have walked
down the most harsh
of conditions.. And baby,
if you want to kick me
to the curb well..
What the hell is
stopping you?

Hey, I know people..
People that care more about
me than
about you.
So why are
you so scared
to step up
to my plate?
I'll spit your words
out into your face.
Without assault, without guilt
you will..wait
for me to say I've got
no place to go
before you take..
All you do is take.

And it figures that
I'll speak and you'll
have nothing to say..
But hey, I know people
who do.
