Just Best Friends...or more?

Best friends,
two simple words,
that can mean so much.

Best friends,
is it possible to love someone so much,
to put all your trust in someone,
to tell them everything,
to spill out your soul.

But what happens when your best friend,
is of the opposite sex,
and you begin to love them,
you love them with all your heart and soul.

Do you tell them how you feel,
risk ruining your friendship,
or risk gaining your soul-mate.

You put yourself in a predicament,
What should you do?

The question eats at you,
and you don't know what to do.

Some risks are worth taking,
but some aren't,
so you keep your mouth shut,
and you're left with the question,
are we just best friends,
or can we ever be more?

one day you'll cry over me, as I once cried over
you, and one day you'll want me but I won't want you.

I apologize for missing this yesterday.
A wonderful flow of good thoughts.
Each will answer the question differently...I would tell the truth, risk the risk, because the friendship is based on honesty...emotional honesty. TD
