Angel Through Hell

Once I put
an angel
through hell.
Now I have
only sad
stories
to tell.
Angels can be
longsuffering,
yes, this is true,
but angels will
give up on you.
Me being a
casualty, and
willing to testify.
Angels will only
take so much
and then they cry.
And believe me,
you don't want to
make an angel cry.
Shortly thereafter
they take occasion
to fly.
Expect not
a goodbye.
