She Touched Me She touched me where my skin is thin In spirit of the courtship din And took me by my eyes in stare And by the fire of her dare And I in hopeless lassitude Succumbed beneath an attitude Laid my shield upon the ground And knelt one knee to her astound. To me she was an angel sent A spewing of desires vent And to this day I can’t believe This miracle of conceive And thought I am a mix of stew And knew that it was not my coup Yet I thank this bend of wend And will until my very end. If this could happen to this frog I say you stay within the bog. |
