The raging tides crash against my soul Grazing the heart I hold within As the fierce storms break out inside It slowly drowns me with fear Darkness surrounds me from all around Covering me with loneliness Spreading inside and out I cry to the gods Open me up inside and heal my wounds! As I look into the darkness Light appears overhead I see an angel before my eyes Her wings of love holding her tight As she calls for me to step into the light I move forth and she holds out her hand And a blinding white light covers my path I open my eyes to find that shes gone Was it my dream that brought her along? |
