Good and evil are
words haphazardly tossed around
in the flawed dogmas of
sheep and sheppards alike

What do you know of light
without having crawled in the darkness?
How easily judments roll
from impetuous tongues

You speak to me in black and whites
of angels and demons, heaven and hell
but these are dualities not opposites
part of the same truths and law

Fiction or not He too was once an angel
and therein lies his power over man
for if an angel in paradise could fall
then what is a man to do?

No it's not the Devil you fear
on bended knees at bedside
it's the Self and all its capabilities
the horror lies within

True salvation lies
in the courage of confrontation
and a conquering of self that not words
but only experience can teach

Salvation
is nothing but useless ideology
until you've danced with the devil

ah, and we do agree. As you know, I believe that armageddon is within--at ALL times.
