~ The Myths: creatures of the night ~
___________________________________________________

Predator of the night
immortal soul starved for blood
the rapture pulses hard against his skin
taut and chalk-like.

He hides in passageways
awaiting his next victim in cold of night
whispering vibration only the darkness hears.

His claws scratch the walls as his hunger
becomes unbearable; madness rises from deep inside
and his eyes
turn bright as a light from the fire within.

Footsteps echo the Parisian underground
simple and smooth over cobbled street
wet with rain.

His bestial shadow reflects and entwines with her
of stiletto heels which quicken becoming loud
with alarm.

In one swift movement he is upon her
his ivory fangs sinking deep
their bodies drop becoming still
in their final resting-place.

The imagery here is exceptional...a wonderful write both of you!

Spooky- you guys are dark. Well I like dark anyway, so I enjoyed it.

Great write you guys! Amazing imagry! Glad I read it. I agree with the nightmares..I`ll be having them for a few months now.
