I gaze into the evening sunset and marvel at
the kaleidoscope of colors.
Bright gold's, dusty grays and Caribbean blues,
with touches of misty mauves.
Feathering, blending, scattering, into the opulent horizon.
Looking at the surrounding trees
the sunset is a master painter’s backdrop
for silhouettes of beauty, textures and grace.
Imagine the delicate fingers of the wind touching,
caressing-
Cooling the dampness from your warm moist skin.
A comfortable chair, extra soft cushions, a foot stool
that fits just right.
A cup of tea with mint and a touch of lemon.
The comfort of good conversation and laughter
touching deep inside your very being.
Isn’t it lovely?
