Elias sweats as does the night ...his journey no where done, Searching, seeking, ever striding, ...towards whence comes dawn's sun. Evening's mist cloaks still the land, ...no dew of morn yet falling, While Elias walks in silent hunt, ...heeds not of midnight's calling. Elias son, dark paths you travel, ...unknown to mortal man, Existing not in light of day, ...yet through night's heaven span. Half spent the night, moon's silver glow, ...on noiseless feet you tread, The night she speaks in soothing calm, ...as march you through her stead. Elias son, as day departs, ...where do ever you flee? Come eventide, as fields you walk, ...what hope that will you see? [This message has been edited by Tim (06-27-2003 08:07 AM).] |
