The masquerade of a mass delusion A normal day There is nothing normal about it She fills my thoughts every hour I can’t stop thinking about her I think of the good times, of all the fun we had together And incomprehensible joy surges over me Filling my heart, lifting my spirits But just as quickly, it leaves me And the unwanted sorrow takes its place I’m thrown to the ground, fighting back the tears and pain As I cower in the dark recesses of my mind Tears within break through and slide down, caress my face Brush my cheek as I used to gently brush hers The pain swells, my head throbs, and the mind and the heart go their separate ways Though both want to go only one way Back to her loving touch Back to her warm and sweet smile Back to her heart Back To her And I dwell on these thoughts, unable to control myself As I think of her, the joy returns… And the cycle starts over again |

I know this too often more so now than ever...this aches.. If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. [This message has been edited by Ceinwyn (06-27-2003 11:35 AM).] |
