Juniper Itch

I seem to have
the juniper itch
I’m sure that you
don’t give a stitch
but it’s making me
writhe and twitch
to suffer in this way.

It’s prob’ly from
the dustly mites
that live and cling
to greens real tight
and when I come
to disturb their site
they seek to drive me
far away.

But, alas, I
shall persevere
for I must make it
ever clear
that that much foliage
is none to dear,
and I cannot
let it stay.
