Angry, confused, sad, Why does life sometimes treat me bad, I sit here and get mad, Always frustrated, This world is so cold, I don’t fit in this mold, So I’m told. I begin to run, Where there is no light, no sun, It is here, That I hold in all fear. Angry, confused, sad, Why does life sometimes treat me bad, I sit here and get mad, Always frustrated, This world is so cold, I don’t fit in this mold, So I’m told. As I cross these unsteady bridges, I breathe deep, Air so raw it stings my lungs, I can’t scream, I can’t cry, Please someone help me, I don’t want to be alone, Don’t let me die. Angry, confused, sad, Why does life sometimes treat me bad, I sit here and get mad, Always frustrated, This world is so cold, I don’t fit in this mold, So I’m told. Passing Shadows, we all know anger well and I'm glad that you could relate to this poem. Timothysangel1973, you are absolutely right, but question for you is... Why bother trying to be happy about it if deep down inside some people like myself aren't happy about trying to fit in? I just live life one day at a time and if someone doesn't like me that's their problem. I just right what I feel and that's all I can do. :-) Thanks I'm glad you like the poem. ~Kelly~ |
