They lay and wait
for their fly by-night-mother
to nurture them again
in the womb they fill,

step siblings to eachother,
created of light and dark
different moods
different days,

wednesday child
caressed by sky,
sunday songs
of wristcutting angst,

scattered poems,
half truths
sighs and whispers
shouts and rants
that come on whims,

coming attractions
preempted
by paralysis
or change of mood,

they seek delivery,
but have become mostly foreign
to their mother now, wincing
as she cannot meet their young eyes,

haunted by them
as days go by,
knowing she must soon choose
between life and death

Michelle, I stand in awe and amazement at the
wonderful way you can write the feelings of your heart.
You are a very talented writer, Michelle.

scattered poems,
half truths
sighs and whispers
shouts and rants
that come on whims,
I guess that is why we are here... releasing some of that angst.

So much to chose, so much to lose ....

Is not the night but a womb of chance,
the dawn deliverance, and daylight life?

Amazing the things you see in the light!
