She looks out windows, The flowers are now blooming Her eyes are shadows What is seen is a blurring As vision now goes. She sits at doorways Wheels instead of walking feet, Indoors she now stays, The outdoors she never greets, There day after day She picks at her meals, Tasteless gone is the hunger, Nothing now appeals, Fragrances are now odor The sating won’t fill. She sleeps more each day, If dreaming they are forgot, Thoughts just slip away Takes the joy they might have brought, So in sleep she’ll stay. Gloom |

This one is not gloomy, just very sad. You captured well what happens to many. If there is such a person in your life I am sorry for your pain. I've watched, over time, one such one disinegrate and it was a most unpeasant part of life, and I was not even a relative. Heart hugs, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Thank you, Justbleu, I appreciate you taking the time to respond Thank you, Junemac, I am pleased you liked it Thank you, regards2you, I spend each Sunday after church in a Nursing home Where my mother now lives I am blessed she still here and recognizes me, So many children come and are not know by a parent The sadness of theirs fills me.
