Mindless dribble, unpoetic scribble... that's all I have to write tonight, so I stay up and drool, drowning in swirling pools of useless circular thoughts, perhaps worthy only of mindless robots cyberlinking total nonsense? Horsethoughts make more sense to me today as my friend Romo, (a cross breed Belgian? draft?) seems to have a better handle on reality today than me. He is gentle and beautiful, this gorgeous Romo, and he gifts Love unconditionally responding so gently to each request for forward movement. How few humans respond with such Love. And as I sit here, wanting the world to see LOVE, I cannot help but wonder why we humans cannot be more like the horse. Laugh if you must... but trust me, the spirit of the horse will remain forever free, even as he gives you his devotion and respect.. he shall remain free. Can you say that about you and me? |

Well, I couldn't find any mindless dribble here at all, just wonderful examples of how love is given, unconditionally...and how humans would be much happier if they could but heed the lessons taught by our loving pets. Romo sounds absolutely gorgeous!!! Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart ~~S~~ |

Horsethoughts! That is what is going to come to my mind the next time I try to write because my soul say it is time, but my mind restrains my soul. This is a wonderful piece. And thank Romo for me! -Patricia |

I know exactly how you're feeling about the love of your Romo. I have that deep respect for the love my little Scooter dog has for me. He is such a loving little fellow, and always wanting to please. So forgiving when I tend to get in my horrible moods....doesn't hold grudges...seems to know when I am truly sorry for something I've said or some way I've acted. I don't know many humans with all those qualities where love and understanding are concerned. (except for my two legged baby...my Honey-Love) Well, didn't mean to get so long-winded, but this poem made me think, too. Oh, and give Roma a hug and a "Horse Whisper" for me. ![]() Hugs to you, too ![]() Ethel [This message has been edited by garysgirl (04-27-2003 10:00 AM).] |

This is so creative and I LOVE the way this reads!!! Great job! I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man. |

![]() (smiles) I beg to differ...I think the best poetry is always that that feels nonsense, and surely I would love to run like a wild palomino and seem to live aimlessly but at the same time know grace is with me! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is wonderful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing! ![]() May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story |
