This pain like color
drawn up white linen
fading
streaking
a vapor trail of tears
from eyes wide shut
till sun reflects
icy glow
from chains that bind
me from you
*
I fear desire
melts
into another day
insulated
from your passion
until the linen
bleached
from memory
fades
*
Your color slips from me like silk

Robert,

Imagery, emotions, and hate sounding like a parrot, but that last line,  wow!

The insulation and fading linen breathes so well in the passion.

I enjoyed this so so much!

Kickass!
