Write Me Out I suppose it was partially my fault that my wife fell in love with a rich man from Argentina. Even though he had a brief affair with my wife his wife and children were still the most important things in his life. In a letter he told my wife that he would stay married to his beautiful wife. In another time or life he told her perhaps they could have been together. But in his letter he said his last goodbyes and he told my wife he was determined to forget her. My wife no longer considered me a necessary or desirable part of her life. She told me I no longer existed and she proceeded to write me out of her life. I wonder how many of us have been 'written out'? I could say a lot of things here, but I'm just going to say that maybe this was good for you to write it down. And passing shadows is right...you really will find a good love one day, maybe even a poetic heart that will 'Write You In'! Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart ~~S~~ |

James, I think people believe they can "write you out," but the truth is once you have been a part of someone's life, once you have touch another's heart in some way, you can never really be erased from the page. Yes, you may never see or touch that person again in the physical sense, but the mind will bring forth the times you shared. At least, I like to think so. I was recently "written out" in the physical sense, but I have a feeling he still remembers the times we shared and the words we said. In a small and odd way, this feeling brings me comfort. -Patricia |
