Blow wind blow, blow in the soaking, freezing winters rain. Blow it into our hearts, blow it into our brains. Blow the white, fabric of snow across the land, pristeen and sparkling like jewel dust. Blow yesterday's paper, down dirty streets, cluttered with cigarette ends and empty cans of rust. Blow wind blow, always blow, purify the earth and seas with your power. Blow over the craggy cliffs of coasts, blow in our soft april rain showers. Blow north, blow east, blow south, blow west, blow even at mt time of rest.! |

Welcome to Passions! I LOVE the wind--and your poem! I have even been trying to find a nature CD on the sounds of nature that has different kinds of wind sounds. I have a sound machine that I fall to sleep to every night, but alas, no sounds of the wind there either!--just the occasional background wailing. I love to go outside in a windstorm! I find it so ennervating and invigorating! Just reading your poem has given my day a brisk, fresh start! Warm welcoming hugs, Earth Angel |
