I stare off
into the space between us.
The things I never had a chance to tell you,
are pulling me out from inside.
The truth is, if I've already lost it,
I won't forget it.
Trying to be convincing to myself that
I'll be fine.
Yet in your eyes, I cried.
If I could just feel your skin
like I used to..
Taste your lips,
dive into the once passionate kiss.
I wish I could feel the exhilaration of
love once again.
