I've lost the pleasure in breathing eyes clouded over by uniform grey food isn't sustainence it's filler shoveled into the voids drink isn't social it's anesthesia for the surgery of thought i .......... not out of any sense of eroticism it's become a habit something to do to pass the time or help me sleep which doesn't come as easy or as often as it once did when the echo of a thousand useless days keep me up nights that stretch into weeks that stretch into years Like I said one day I'm going to throw all of you off by writing a happy poem..one day grin [This message has been edited by Aenimal (06-09-2003 04:20 PM).] |

Aenimal, this hits home for me. Have been enjoying your writings. They don't need to be "happy" in order to learn something from them, which is why I read. Although when you're ready you're going to write a smashing good happy poem, too! Into my library.... |
