Note: i just wrote this tonight. My grandmother died a few days ago. I haven't written in like a month or so, so this might be a bit choppy. I saw a star shining And I knew it was you Heavens new angel Watching over me It's hard to believe you're gone It's so surreal You've always been there In all my proudest moments You were love and support Poured into human form I wish I could have given you All the love you've given me But it's too late now I just wish I could see You back like when I was young Smiles and love One more time If there is a god or heaven I know you're right there Free from the pain But away from me It's hard knowing I'll never see you again Alive and smiling All these years taken for granted in my mind It seems unfair But I hope you're happy wherever you are I know you're watching me Heavens new angel Up in the stars |

"You were love and support Poured into human form" That enraptured me the most. I'm really sorry for your loss  But, it's a great poem, and I really got into it. |

Grandchildren and grandparents' love is a very unconditional thing...you will always be loved by your grandparents; they don't know how to do much else. You see, it is the grandchild that makes them who they are... That the love stays in you and guides you through life... is up to you in remembering them... I am sorry for your loss, but something tells me, she was very happy to be your grandmother. |

Crimson Tear ~ I am sorry for the loss of your grandmother in her physical form, but you now have an ever-present angel to protect you!--and believe me, she knows how much you love her! My grandparents brought me up and what a loving childhood I enjoyed ....This is nicely done and concieved from the right ideas. The best teachers have the biggest ears |

wow, shane. it brought tears to my eyes, literally. l'm sorry for your loss, and l know what it'd do to me to ever lose my grandmother, but l think the others are right - she is in a better place, even if it's not heaven... she's got a special spot inside your heart, so even if u never see her physically again, you'll always have the memories, of htat special smile, or hte way she said your name. she'll always be there. laurie. |
