Hear the dripping of the sink
Kitchen sink
There's a madness in my future in its dripping doth me think
Hear it dripping, dripping, dripping
In the stillness of the night
As my sanity is slipping
Damned infernalness of dripping
With a piercing dagger's might
Quashing quiet, quiet, quiet
In a kind of liquid riot
In its discombobulation any longer I can't think
Drips the sink, sink, sink, sink
Sink, sink, sink
Drips the leaking, constant leaking of the sink.

Hear the plopping bathroom sink
Porcelain sink
Foretelling mental breakdown in its plopping doth me think
Through the soothing calm of night
How it drops in devil's bite
On the little silver drain
Endless plopping
In its maddening refrain
While I lie awake to dropping of drip's drop
On the drain
Oh, endless plop
With a rush of cacaphony in a constant maddening flop
It does drop
It does plop
Breeds a smelly germy crop
Of a sickly moldy slop
From the dropping and the plopping
Of the sink, sink, sink
Of the sink, sink, sink
Of the leaking, constant leaking of the sink.

An ogre in the sink
What an smelly ogre stink
With the ogre in the sink
As he breeds I hear I think
Him quashing quiet, quiet, quiet
In a kind of liquid riot
Sounds the ogre of the sink
Of the sink
Quashing quiet, quiet, quiet
In a kind of liquid riot
To the plopping in the sink
To the sink, sink, sink
To leak dropping in the sink
Quashing quiet, quiet, quiet
In the sink, sink, sink
In a kind of liquid riot
To drips falling in the sink
In the sink, sink, sink
Hear the calling of the sink
Of the sink, sink, sink
Of the plopping and drip's dropping in the sink.

Very well you rendered this sort of Chinese torture ... or nightmare.
In the night's silence the noises grow, as do our thoughts when we can't stop them.
Peace!
Love, Margherita

Yeah Tim,  that darn sink dripping is almost
as maddening as that stupid raven was....

I don't think you owe Edgar an apology...
after all.....  I think he was about half
mad when he wrote that poem among others.

You brought a chuckle out of me with this
poem..
