hey all id like to share my very first ever poem with you so ill understand if its not good because its the one i first wrote so hope you like it in some way that is.

ANGEL OF SLEEP

Angel of sleep take me away
To the one I truly love
Fly me thought the midnight sky
To a place so far away

There you will find her
Sleeping so peacefully
Guide her through her endless sleep
Help her find her way

Bring her to the light again
Where I’ll be waiting for her
Let me stay for my love is true
I’ll be her guardian angel

Angel of sleep fly away home
To the ends of time and back again
For when you return
I know ill need your light again

It's absolutely beautiful, and if this is the first, then there will be MUCH more to come.....it shows a natural feel for the things that move and frame a poem.
