Hang me on a string,
tie me up for the whole world to see.
What a terrible thing for me to be,
a weak bird with a wounded wing.
Unsure of my fate,
and the terrible flight I must take
hoping I will not face another mistake,
or the painful falling at any rate.
The pressure to stay a flight,
is not made toward self interest,
but rather the fear of arrest,
made by the one of light,
the source of my life.
Looking to and fro,
fearing the world below,
I struggle to escape this strife.
The finish line was only reached,
when I found my life's missing piece,
I knew the gravity would decrease,
when my new born son slowly screeched.

This is very very nice! I don't know how it slipped by....I think it deserves to be read. Love the last line.
