I wanted nothing
To do with you
To me at the time
Men were scum

I had just go through
A terrible break up
Whne you showed up on
The scene
I just felt like being mean

But when you said "Hello" so kindly
I couldn't say no to being just your friend
But I told you I would be nothing more
Than just your friend because of the
Horrible ordeal I just endured

I talked to you for 2 months
When I found out I really did like you
I didn't know how to say it
But I did know how to express it
In other ways

One day I just looked in your eyes
And at that time I knew I was in love
I couldn't hold back from kissing those
Lucious lips of yours anymore

Then after the kiss
When your eyes met mine
I knew this love I felt
Even though being stubborn in the beginning
Was truly meant to be

Cold hands means a warm heart
