Waking with you

Tresses
Sunlight dappling
Rhythm of early sleep
Finger tracing your supine shape
Radiance glowing from smoldering eyes
Arms reaching to pull me closer
Cascading locks on chest
Forms entwining
Tresses

I pictured it as me and Julie.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

To E and Loner, your words are kind
And Thunder and 'sun, you make me shine
Whenever my words your spirits lift
To Icebox too, your praise is a gift

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Ken,
This is a beautiful rictameter. I'm so glad that I saw it before it got pushed to the other pages. I would have hated to have missed this poem of my favaorite form of poetry!!
You did it so beautifully, too!!

Man, we are busy on this Open Forum. I posted a poem early this morning and it's already moved to page three, I think it is, with one reply. Gooodness, where's everybody coming from? LOL

Hugs to you, friend

(smiles) Oh Ken, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I think each morning we just have to wake to the sun and what better way than share it with someone special? (big hugggsssssss) This is enlightening, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ken, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
