I know you're there in still life
standing close behind by me
watching from the sidelines
my eyes catching your reflection
through tinted windows on a side street.

Like the sun dares to stare me down
from the outside looking in
I want to stay right here beside you
passing through my minds eye
so I can always keep you near.

Holding up the prisms light
turned in your direction
I've drawn you in a thousand seascapes
outlined in silver shadows
defined in silhouette.

Leaning in to shape your profile
focused on your nonchalance
brushing up against the curves
rigid in straight lines
highlighting your perfections

~Poised against the skyline~

Bluesy - you always sing to me
but here you paint
ans what an artist you are . . .

This strangely enough reminds me
of my step-dad - you know - like
watching from above - smiling
beautiful

Lori,
A write, like littlewing, to which I can relate. Nice.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Well gosh, I don't know what to say to you guys.  I just hope I give back to you,  as much as you give to me.

And Barry, thanks for the top shelf stuff,
it's nice to be placed so high.

Thank you everyone,  for everything!
