Caught by the trap, Ensnared by the noose, And now no sword Can cut him loose. In the wild, He was one with the beasts. He hated the castles, Though enjoyed their feasts. He preffered a small village Tucked away in the trees; And though his forest betrayed him, He no longer flees. He's decided that death Might save him some gold, And also spare him The pain of growing old. "What fools these guards Who think that they've won!" And as they attack him: "I've only begun!" A swipe of his dagger, A strike of the fist, Another quick slash To the rope on his wrist. Now he's off again, His decision has changed; The mind of a thief Is so very strange. What is life without poetry and adventure? |

Thief and fox have a similar bent and they howl to the moon in lament but both have been taught that when danger is fraught first to come to their death, then to went. ![]() Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

I loved the action. Defiently sound like something you would do. Cold hands means a warm heart |
