Innovation

Innovations cobblestones
Tries my mind and fires my bones
Rakes a rake over my soul
Burns and rages o’er my goal

It rams me like a cannons rod
Moves me like the thought of God
Diggs within my spirits dwell
Threatens me with thoughts of hell

Phantoms haunt my every sleep
Brings me to the point of weep
Frenzy’s me with frozen tongue
Swings me in its gallows hung

And no one hears my silent cries
Nor the echoes of my sighs
I turn and twist the winds insight
Waiting for the mornings light

I feel I am but chewed up chyme
And hell for me forever’s time

Well I know so little of innovation's due ...
but a poet true was discovered when they invented you.
Now Randy may feel like chewed up chyme ...
but you are the sublime in my morning's rhyme.

I hope you have a patent on your poet's pen ...
cause we need to read over and over again.

JM,
You have struck me on my funny bone
With a feather not a stone
And I am crying tears of tea
I think it's raspberry let me see.
And Randy says we fly today
The look in his eye says your way.

Dastardly blend of depression's ride
hits one like an ocean's tide
smacks of salt-caked foam gone bad,
sinks us well if we hold to sad...

But to float, ah, now there's the test
grab on to hope, for it floats the best
it rarely sinks, but swims, then flies,
a rainbow's apparition before our eyes...

so keep the thoughts of all that know
depression's short-lived, if given heave-ho!

My oh my, Seymour. Sounds like you have deep thoughts this morning. Take Randy for an adventure in the land of smiles. But, before you leave....Strawberry tart with your tea? Okie Dokie. hugs, Chris

OMG, I'm skipping my usual intro and getting right to the heart of the matter!

I'm on my way! You are not spending another night without me by your side--at least my astral self!---and of course with Isabel's permission! I'll stand on guard for her as well! I'll keep the boogeyman away from the both of you! You will sleep like babies and your dreams will be as sweet as the honey that you are!

Seymour, I wish that I had the words to tell you just how much your rhymes mean to me every day. Rhymes are my favorite kind of poetry, and the kind I like to try to write best. Now, if I could just learn how to ryhme in the form of poetry I love so well...the rictameter.
Thank you, my friend, for being YOU.
Hugs
Ethel

(big hugggsssssssss) Sometimes it's just plain simple: stop creating! (sad sigh) Seems we are always undergoing delayed gratification and that leads to such violence like this, just be original and let that dragon take you out of there! (sigh) Know the angels are always responding and watching over you, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Your choice of vocabulary is spot on, yet again you write amazing poetry.
