~*Metronome of Dreams*~ Tonight... the teardrops echo off lonely chamber walls... Your love awoke this sleeping heart And you... became musical accompaniment to its rhythmic beating Breathing you in, I played your song... With you... the metronome of dreams marking time And then... the rhythm faltered The song...the dream... silenced Tonight... the teardrops echo off lonely chamber walls...
