[This poem is, by no means, based on or referring to the poet known as Star Black.]

star black

Star black--
star black, such cheery perfume
lies scandalously thick on air.

Such black--
such black, such berry black
so tasty yet so rare.

And yet from black--
and yet from black a minority is born.

And all that black
yet to go back to plantations once known.

So far to go--
So far to go to leave dirty laundry behind.

And you'll know
no pride-filled show
will guild this unrefined,
dirty man.

The golden guilt's upon the white--
undirtied by the black.
So dirty, yet unsoiled still
by pointless race attack.

A few men
will build again
fictitious conspir'cy plans
And black stars will shine
while three Ks dine
on star black: a hated man.

A loved yet hated star.

curiosity makes me ask:
who is the star you refer to?
what's the intent here, what does this mean?

(BTW, I know who Star Black is, at least in reference to some of her photography and poetry)

this poem is a racial commentary.

Basically, star black is the spectacle that the african american has become in american society, be it for the better or for the worse.

Well, I assumed that it was a racial commentary. Are you suggesting that all African Americans are the same, that they are a homogeneous group, without individual personalities, and that one speaks for all and vice versa?
Is Aran your given name, or a bastardization of Aryan?

Interesting write, I think racism has no part in our society no matter what colour our skin may be our hearts all beat the same
