“INTRIGUING HAZEL EYES” by Bill Charles ~~~~ What words do I write about a beautiful woman, one of distinction, and hazel eyes as her color, for try as I might, and my pen writes with feeling, I find them a mystery to me, so unlike any other… So these words I write gently, and with affection, as they are about your eyes, and pleasures they do, I have been slowly drawn into their magical spell, but I really don’t mind for they belong to only you… But hazel is a perplexing color, not just one by this name, perhaps there are three or four, all lovely I must say, reddish brown is a start, so beautifully striking, like autumn leaves changing, on a crisp fall day… Greenish grey is another, sexy the most pertinent word, soft as they glow like moonbeams during the night, but when I touch you, and our eyes both meet, they slowly change their shade, in the pale moonlight… Yellow and greenish brown are more, delightful they are, soft in their colors, and they show this in many ways, a woman owning hazel eyes I find so very special, always with beauty, displaying every one of her arrays… If you would show me all the colors of an elegant rainbow, I would choose only one that would be clearly acceptable, for you are one in a million, my passions would never change, it’s all about those intriguing eyes, the color of hazel… ~~~~ |

Whomever this refers to is lucky to have someone who looks so deeply. I love the references to the shades as emotions and moods. Good stuff! |

BRAVO! My daughter has hazel eyes that shift from yellow to greenish brown. They eve seem to change with her mood. Thank you for sharing this |

Hey Bill, has Gary been talking to you about my Hazel-green eyes? He says some of the same about my eyes, so I thought he might have been talking to you?? LOL Seriously, they do change with my moods and what I wear. He says when I get sassy they turn really dark green. His stay dark brown all the time. They twinklle, though. LOL I love this poem.
