A smudge of lipstick One missing hour Like curdled milk Our love turned sour No questions asked I couldnt bear The guilt in your eyes Already there Her aroma followed you through our door A scent that sickened me to the core In that very moment My heart was stilled With unspoken lies Our love you killed Of a lipstick smudge You were never aware But for me its stain Will forever be there |
