Somewhere... out there...

Fish Story

Line cast
with graceful skill...

A nibble of interest
and I was hooked

Though powerless
over your expertise
I struggled for a time-
trying to maintain my freedom

Yet, the further I moved
from side to side,
the closer I came...

to you

Slowly...certainly...
you reeled me in
all the while earning

my trust

Allowing me to become
comfortable
in your care

Finally...
I came within reach
and you grasped me
gently
yet firmly
in your hands-

You held on tightly
and I was safe
in your secure embrace

Everyone was happy

There were cheers
and congratulations...

and you...

You were so proud
to call me your own
It was no secret-
you shouted it loudly
for all to hear

The dance floor was ours
and soon
I grew accustomed
to you-

Content to be
your prize

And then...

As the music stopped
and the people watched

You gently
removed the hook

and threw me back

"...until you have read the verse on his heart,
you have not truly met the poet.

Hi Vlraynes, I just love fishing.

Unfortunately, relationships, unlike fishing, is best served, when there are no strings attached...

I really enjoyed your Fish Story!

I hope your having a nice holiday,

Take Care,

Richy

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Vicky, I'm so sorry to hear that, dearest friend, I have been through this experience once before with Joanna; I thought I had the most perfect catch on my first try, but she hided so much from me and I had no choice but to throw her back in he sea and find what her heart truly desires! (sad sigh) I know it sounds like a pessimistic and pathetic cliche, but, they say "There are plenty of fish in the sea!" and when I think of all the contaminated waters of the ocean it makes me cry sometimes, but fear not, everyone will always find their perfect special somebody, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Vicky, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Have to agree with Marge, as it sounds to me that this fisherman may be eating crow instead of enjoying a beautiful fish for a long, long time.  Wish I could give a hug but hope it helps to know I care.

That fisherman deserves to flounder in the Dead Sea! How dare he treat our beloved Vicky that way! You deserve far better!

Keep the wonderful memories and cast the bad ones into outer space!

Let the healing begin, Dear One!

Sending you a rainbow of healing lights and a warm embrace,

Linda xo

Vicky, I sure know how this feels. Because, that is exactly what happened to me. It sure did hurt, too. I am sorry it happened to you.
