 Picture by Josephine Wall * * * My source of inspiration Had been right before my eyes It took a while for me to see But it really came as no surprise Each and every one of you Are so inspiring to me When you share your heart and soul Through your words so much I see My poetic friends are priceless They speak directly to my heart My life has been uplifted From all the love that you impart You are a part of my persona You are the left hand to my right As we share our love of poetry You'll always be my guiding light Your words speak volumes to me As they reach out across the miles And on more than one occasion You are the reason behind my smile * * * * "When the willow bends at the first hint of troubled breezes, our friends come running to see how they can help. Sometimes friends know when they are needed even before we realise it ourselves, because we are accustomed to letting them in on the happenings of our lives." I am in motion |

Hi Sue, this is your left hand speaking, Yeah, you know, the left hand you mentioned in your poem? It’s me! “Howyadoing?” That’s Good! I’m Glad! Hey, you know what? It’s been getting a little hot around here. I wuz thinking, maybe you could get us one of them little finger bowls. You know, so’s maybe we could take a little dip, now and again? Whatdayathink? And a nice new hand towel would be good too you know. I’m gonna keep my fingers crossed it’s not another one of them hand me down’s, like last time. Plus, I been getting a little sunburn up on top... maybe you could get me a handicap or something? Dat would be really nice... Hey, for lunch, I was thinking some finger foods would be yummy... You know the Lady Finger sandwiches are my favorite! Hey, didya hear the oneabout the Carpenter who had to go get his teeth fixed? Yeah, he kept biting his nails... Hehe Give me five! (Slap!) Ouch! Well, I just wanted you to know that I wrote you this little note, to thank you for this nice poem you wrote about me. It get’s two... thumbs up! Well, that is, if I can get the other one to cooperate??? I would’ve handwritten it, but you wouldn’t have been able to read it... Since you write with that... “other hand.” Well anyway Sue, I just want you to know... I think your da best, Hands down!!! Oh, and sorry for always being such a handful...
