The Melancholy Blues Boredom writes plain Depression pens dark I had shed another tear Upon a questionmark All became complex Parts interconnected Supposing the worse As feelings collected Silence with thoughts Until strength is gained Where page after page Became tear stained In the too hard basket It became obvious why Being clouded in doubt Upon each page I cry In my poetic demise Confidence was weak When doubting myself This is nothing unique Words had departed Taking away my muse Anxieity began to sing The melancholy blues Hope©2003 |
